Colin Ross 9 Key NSP
This set belongs to my partner Cora.. Not been played much since purchase.
The set needs a clean,.polish and new reeds.
Sadly the previous owner gouged the chanter which was unnecessary.
The set won't be for sale.

Beautiful set of Colin Ross Northumbrian pipes in Boxwood with imitation ivory mounts.
Chanter strip down
The chanter has been smothered in some kind of oil, possibly neatsfoot and is a sticky mess.
The keys didn't move properly and either stuck to the chanter or wouldn't return after being opened.
Two keys needed the pads reattached
Chanter has been stripped down, cleaned and the keys oiled with key oil.
The bore was cleaned and then lightly oiled with bore oil.
Cotto wool replaced at the bottom and new reed fitted.
Drone Reeds
Some of the tongues need replacing to make the set playable
Ultimately all the tongues will be replaced.
